My 2004 move to the Big Island after retiring from the Colgate-Palmolive Company has inspired me beyond my wildest dreams.  The wonders of nature, the beautiful weather and scenes of the Big Island have me working in Art, something I thought a retired Electrical Engineer would never be able to do.  I also credit my Wife, an artist and retired Art Teacher, who has fostered my talents.
           
            About 25 years ago, I began working in stained glass.  While I really enjoyed it, I never had time to develop my skills until my move to the Big Island.  I work in two different glass mediums, stained glass panels & lamps, and Garden Accent / Stepping Stones.  The panels are all original designs made of hand cut stained glass using the copper foil method.  The stones are also original designs made of hand cut stained glass which is embedded into either Diamondcrete™ or concrete.  All of the Art pieces feature images that have been inspired by living on the Big Island.

I am glad to have the opportunity to pursue the joys of personal creativity and am thrilled to be a part of the Kailua village Artists.
