Felicia Fry

Felicia Fry’s watercolors express her feelings of Hawaii’s rugged, spectacular, yet sometimes stark landscape with the ocean, lava and tropical foliage.

Felicia was born in Penticton, B.C., and was an honor graduate from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Canada.
She attended San Miguel de Allende in Mexico to further her fine art training.  Her long art career was basically in advertising design and graphics in Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and San Diego.  During that time she attended Los Angeles Art Center.

The last few years in San Diego, she studied under Robert Perine, a well-known watercolorist and author.

The Fry’s moved to Kona in 1984, where she has been an active member of Kailua Village Artists group, who operate a gallery in the Keauhou Beach Resort.  She has exhibited in juried art shows, and has taken many workshops with renowned artists.
