Mac was born, raised and lived in Colorado for 69 years before coming to Kailua-Kona in 1992. Graduation from Denver University followed World War II military service in the famed "Ski Troops", the 10th Mountain Division. He also studied at the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco from 1940 to 1942. All phases of the marketing and advertising agency business constituted his 44 years in Denver. He is an active member, and past president of the Kailua Village Artists group, and displays his watercolors in a number of Hawaiian galleries. Art collectors from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Canada and Throughout the U.S. mainland have discovered that the imagery of Mac's paintings interpret their own feelings and enjoyment of the Big Island. 75-217 Nani Kailua Dr. #169
